If program A contains a simple, static call to program B, they are in the
same load module or program object (executable). If now you recompile B it
is possible, indeed easy, to use the Binder to replace B in this executable
without recompiling or resupplying A. (Both the Binder and the Linkage
Editor, which you should not be using at this late date, accept their
outputs as inputs.)
