On my sandpit at 1.7, the LPAR goes to it's (soft)cap and stays there - 24 hours a day. No users. No CICS, no DB2, just RMF and the normal system tasks. At 1.4 have never had an issue. Got so bad, I shut it down, and migrated to another LPAR with a larger (CPU) allocation. Hadn't checked the capture ratio, but I just might do so. z/990. Good pick-up folks.
