"You are correct that it is missing from the book. I'll try to get it added. SUBSYS should be supported. Based on your result, it does apppear that it is supported otherwise you would have gotten an error from bpxwdyn. It looks like you got an application error on open. You probably need to verify your subsystem is getting the parameters as you expect, for example, if you expect the quotes to be passed through, they will not as you have this coded.
