Thanks Greg.

I translated against the wrong SCDS. When I went into 7.5 I saw that my
changes weren't there. I re-translated/validated against the correct
SCDS. The allocation is working now.

Dean -- it depends, of course.

Is that the data set name that was actually allocated? If so, then your
data set name mask in DC & SC looks okay.

Did you just add this to your ACS routines and then validate and
activate your configuration? If so, then are there any "sysprog
exceptions" in your SC routine that are preventing your expected code
path (testing for your User ID or type of data set, for instance)?

Did you use option 4 in the ACS Application Selection menu to test your
logic? It's helped me on many occasion to correctly code what I needed
in the SC routine.

I'm setting up RRS. I allocating the logstream below:
IXGLOGR.ATR.MVSS.DELAYED.UR.VNSNY
This is what I have defined in my DC & SC
IXGLOGR.ATR.**
SMS is not picking up the allocation. I don't know why, I thought the **
would take care of everything after ATR. What am I missing ? TIA Dean
