Whilst doing a 1.7 build I was advised by the customer involved that Dino had advised them of this issue. I put myself on the notification list, and got the fix installed on the same day as it was released. It should be noted that Mainstar (Rocket) also advised this same customer of (other) catalog issues they deemed of interest. Kudos to all those involved - potentially critical fixes were highlighted ASAP. A service not offered by IBM that I am aware of.
