Hi,
Have a question in regard to the TZ parm in /etc/profile and
/etc/init.options. Western Australia are trialling Daylight Saving for the
first time and I am a bit confused about the start/end time. I know that we
have to specify WAUST-8WAUDT but according to IBM if I do not specify a
start/end date for when Daylight Saving starts/end it will default to
Standard American Daylight Saving starting at 02:00:00 the first Sunday in
April and ending at 02:00:00 the last Sunday in October. As Daylight saving
in most parts of Australia starts last Sunday in October and ends last
Sunday of March we surely need to specify this.... but how? How do we
specify last Sunday in October when October can have 4 or 5 Sundays ????

Does anyone even bother setting this parm up or care about daylight saving
in USS?

Thanks in advance
Tony
