Is it not considered best practice these days to make changes only to the PROFILE file used to start the CS IP main address space before using the OBEY command? In days long gone by I contrived to set up a TSO clist for starting and stopping interfaces which relied on the OBEY command naming a temporary data set containing a START or STOP statement. At some stage the obvious equivalent supplied command appeared.
