"Doing it by rote" suggests some lack of understanding.  I'm
inclined to concur with that assessment.  So next time I'm requested
to provide doc which resides in UNIX files, I suppose I should ask,
since TRSMAIN balks at UNIX files,  whether they prefer:

o a Tersed pax archive (pax will archive to Classic data sets) or

o a Tersed DFDSS unloaded HFS.

First line, in turn will need to escalate the question.  I'd better
not be in a hurry.

Or do readers of IBM-MAIN have some insights into the decision?
