This document, on page 5, describes the algorithm for calculating a loop- back to calibrate the time signal. The 9037-002 Sysplex Timer utilizes this feature. On my Sysplex Timer, the most recent time synchronization message had the value 111.9 in the field msADV. Since this value starts at 45 ms, the 111.9 value is that measured by the loop-back calibration algorithm.
