If you use DB2, and you run program IFAURP to create a monthly measured
usage report, read on.

The PTFs for this APAR are now available. For z/OS 1.7, the PTF was
UA30581.

Carefully review the ++HOLD ACTION in the PTFs for the IBM web site URL
which describes this in much more detail, and provides a tool for
estimating the impact of this change prior to installing the PTF.
Interestingly, the IBM web site address is not in google, perhaps because
of a "robots nofollow" command in the html (I'm not an html expert). For
this reason, I am not posting the URL here - it's in the PTF ++HOLD ACTION
text.

I ran the ulctool against my last month's SMF data, and got an eyepopping
increase in CPU charged to us for DB2.
