The previous assessment is essentially correct, we have several sites running with a shared Shark (F20), and they have absolutely no complaints, (except that they complaint hat the cost of the shark's DASD is too high), but the reliability is worth the cost.
There is a hit because of the shared Cache, but with the size Shark you have, I doubt that you'll even notice it.
