Tried to send this earlier and got caught by my own filter! ...

Starting Monday Dec 18, UA will start rejecting emails that fall
into the following categories:

- Emails that contain the URLs of known spam sites in the
  body of the message.

- Emails that contain viruses. (signatures updated every 2 hours)

- Emails that contain bad or invalid date/timestamps or travel
through misconfigured mailers that have invalid dates.

The first two will not affect us. However, the third item may
catch some of you. If you send an email to the list from a machine that
does not have the date/time set correctly, it will be rejected.
The date/time would have to be several days back or have a date/time
set into the future. This includes mailers your email would travel
through. For example, if your machine has the current date/time,
but your email travels through a mailer that has a date/time set
5 hours into the future, then back through a mailer that has the
current time, it will be rejected.

I have already notified a few people whose emails were being tagged
as [SPAM], however, Monday those emails will be rejected....and you
won't be able to email me to inquire why! You would have to email
me from another address. Hopefully this will substantially reduce
the amount of spam coming in through our campus mailers.

Again, 99% of us won't be affected by this, so don't panic.

Flames/comments to me, not the list please.
(I'm only the messenger.)
