The OSA-Express Integrated Console Controller Inplementation Guide Redbook recommends two dedicated network switches for two Private console LANs. Did you provide two dedicated switches? One dedicated switch and one networked LAN switch? Two networked LAN switches?
If you dedicated nework switches, then it seems like you also need separate power circuits for each switch and at least two console workstations need to be on different power circuits also. What is the most common practice? I am trying to balance cost and ease with good console reliability.
