I know the archives are riddled with posts about IEFUSI but I was hoping I
could get some recommendations from others for implementing this exit. We
have many user jobs coded with Region=0m and have never had any issues but
it sounds like activating IEFUSI would be a good safety precaution. I've
looked at the sample provided by IBM and have also download the CBT425
sample. I'm only wanting to activate this for Batch jobs so I'm assuming in
my SMFPRM member I'd specify IEFUSI as an exit in the SYS statement while
specifying the SUBSYS statements for STC, TSO, and ASCH separately without
the IEFUSI exit???? Is this what others do? The IBM sample appears to just
use the JES2 Jobclass defaults if REGION=0M. The CBT425 sample appears like
it would work except it looks like it requires the definition of a new RACF
facilty class for region specifications over a max value. I was hoping
others could give me an idea of what they are using and possibly point me to
some samples. Thanks for your help!
