I was looking at the CP idea, but (and please forgive me if this is totally stupid) can you start a new CP from an existing TSO session? I think so.
And if you do, can you "interact" with the parent CP? I think so because of this: QMF is its own CP, no? And from QMF I can go into an ISPF edit session and the split screen and everything is as if before starting QMF. Maybe that was dumb. Sorry.
