It's a matter of names, irrelevant detail in fact.
BCV stands for Business Continuance Volume - special kind of volume available to host. TF/Mirror is copy technique. This technique exploits the BCV volumes. It's (more or less) like PPRC and Secondary volume. The names are related, but they're not synonyms.
