Jan,

Just an FYI, IBM finally got things straightened out. Things are now as
you have described.

Thanks Again,

Dave

Well Dave that's bizar.
As I already told you, I'm in Belgium (Europe).
I started with
http://www-306.ibm.com/ibmlink/link2/ttpu/displayTTPUPage.wss?lc=nl&cc=U
S
(so I changed the country code from BE to US) (watch a possible URL
wrap)

I got the regular (actually at least) ?Sign-in? page
https://www-304.ibm.com/usrsrvc/account/userservices/jsp/login.jsp?persi
stPage=true
(always watch URL wraps)
where you have to enter your IBM_ID and password.

I got to:
?Purchase/upgrade tools? page
where I have this administration application ?Administer entitlement
information?

Clicking on it's hyperlink leads me too:
https://www-304.ibm.com/jct03004c/ibmlink/entitleadmin/displayMenu.wss?a
ction=main&lc=nl&cc=US
(watch the US ! It's still there.)
with
?Entitlement Administration?
Welcome to IBM Entitlement Administration. You can use this facility to
provide companies and users access to applications. You can also
register new companies and users, and update their demographic
information. The menu on the left side of this page contains all the
entitlement related tasks that are available

Even though I did the whole trial in US mode, I have access to my
company's profiles.
I see in front of me actually
page 'Update company profile'
of my BE_company on url
https://www-304.ibm.com/jct03004c/ibmlink/entitleadmin/customerNumber.ws
s?action=updatecompanyprofile&lc=nl&cc=US
(so still with the US country code !)

You definitely have a problem somewhere.
Try the ?IBMLink customer support?:
please use 'IBMLink feedback' or contact the help desk at
1-800-543-3912 which is a US number, ?cause when I logon in Europe, our
help desk is somewhere in Germany.

Clicking on the US ?IBMLink feedback? link will launch a secondary
browser with:
https://www-304.ibm.com/jct03004c/ibmlink/feedback/feedbackPage.jsp?lc=n
l&cc=US
I tried it and I was able to launch it. (I didn?t pursue of course ;-)
)

Remark:
I just want to draw your attention on the fact that I started the whole
thing with still a ? ibmlink/link2?? url even though link2 has been with
drawn. But redirections have been put in place.

Re. the 7 November 2006 news item: Announcing IBMLink 2000 Release 5.1
Changes in IBMLink 2000 On November 10, 2006, IBMLink 2000 Release 5.1
will be deployed. The following changes will occur in this release:
Platform
IBMLink will change its context root URL from
"www.ibm.com/ibmlink/link2" to "www.ibm.com/ibmlink". This change will
comply with ibm.com corporate direction. There will be no change in
functionality from your perspective. Redirects will be put in place to
guide you to the new URLs.
?etc?

So I don't think the ...ibmlink/link2... stuff is your problem.

Wish you good luck!
Jan
