Thanks Barry, Shane, and Radoslaw for your thoughts on this. I don't know how important the ZFS stuff is to us anyway. I am sticking with HFS for now and may convert to ZFS later. So far we haven't made much use of HFS. I know it is used more and more, plus this is my first Full Base install (with IBM's TCP/IP). We have always used Interlink/CA. Also have never used Internet service delivery. Lots to learn!
I agree with Radoslaw that RACFDRV and RACFTGT are the most time consuming jobs to review and customize. I don't mind so much because we don't upgrade very often (obviously) and upgrade time is the time to review everything, see what's new, etc. I would upgrade more often if it weren't for those pesky applications that have to be tested. :) For the record my ZFS RACF userid will look like: Default group of STCGRP Connected to groups, DFSGRP and ZFSGRP STDATA user = DFS Thanks again, Robert Johnston Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail message, including any attachments, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
