Hello again... I have an old 3274 controller defined in IODF that is no longer installed. The 1st 24 addresses are defined as 3279s or 3278s and I added DYNAMIC=YES to those definitions so that I can delete them in a future IODF. The last 8 addresses are defined as 3286-2 and I can't figure out what to do with them. DYNAMIC YES/NO is not an available option for these under "OS group change". I thought I would change the device type to 3278 and then add dynamic=yes but HCD will only allow me to change the device type to another printer device type using the "Device type group change". I haven't tried to delete those addresses and/or add them back as 3278.
I don't do a lot with HCD and I hate surprises when I try to activate. Can someone please advise on how to remove/change these guys so I can eventually get rid of them?
