When I gave that amount, I did not specify a size.

The small guys are used for copying data from computer to computer -
and they are still larger than mainframe partitions I worked with in
Olden Dayze.    The big guys are generally used as system backups. And
they are cheap enough that people actually buy them and use them. (And
they are cheaper, easier, and more reliable than tapes on personal
computers).
