Well, welcome back Barbara. Allow me to concur. Last CEC upgrade (to new series processor) we had was done "in place". Meant bringing down a CF, moving everything out to DR, letting the CEs do their bit, define new, and move everything into the "new" box. Same serial number. For contingency I had defined a new CF so things could be set up in advance. Subsequently, the third CF "ghost" was always with us until the 'plex was finally dismantled completely.
