Customers looking to upgrade their aging systems would have nowhere else to turn but IBM if not for the presence of the HP/PSI combination.
Is technology advancing so fast that it's to "upgrade" a system a few years old to an emulator? And the putative customers would still be left with unsupported software. Or would PSI adopt the software, too? I'd guess the licensing hurdles would be insurmountable -- IBM's not likely to release the source code. -- gil -- StorageTek INFORMATION made POWERFUL ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
