Partition Name
A unique name assigned to the partition.
The name you specify:
o must be unique within a processor
o must be 1 to 8 alphanumeric characters long
o must have an alphabetic first character
o cannot contain any symbols (national characters such
as @, ยข, or $)
o cannot be a reserved name: ALL, PHYSICAL, PRIMxxxx
(where xxxx is any decimal number), REC, SHARED, or
SYSTEM might be reserved names depending on the
processor type-model.
