You're lucky they even say you are doing well. Most don't even do that much. When they want to cut you loose, the last thing they want to see is YOU waving a lot of paper at them showing them great reviews, accomplishments and accolades, so they SOP today is usually find SOME fault and document it so if they decide to get rid of you, they have some proof. SAD BUT TRUE!

Gawd! Old dog--new tricks? I've haven't even had to write a monthly status
report in years.  Yearly appraisals have been like, "You're doing well.
Much appreciated.  Here's your raise.  Lunch?"
