I wondered that myself while I lived in Riyadh. They use Hindu-Arabic numerals, to use the formal name (not to be confused with Eastern Hindu-Arabic numerals, which have a difference in the shape of the 4, 5 and 6) as opposed to Arabic numerals (now named "European" numerals).
