For 1.7, EXIT 53 is probably the best place. ( together with exit 3 for NJE-submitted jobs ) There is a field in the JCT, JCTJUSID which may or may not contain the userid, I'm not 100% sure. I set the msgclass in exit 54 based on some e=other criteria so have some code that might help
