IIRC the last revision of the ATC system was running on MVS/XA and 3350(3380?) dasd as recently as the late 1990's I don't know of the replacement system has been deployed yet. I recently ceased employement with a defense contractor that was running os/390 1.8 as late as 2004 They do exist, and I don't think they are as rare as some would like you to believe.
