This has nothing to do with DST. I am having problems keeping our 2 CPU's time's in Sync. We are not Sysplex and we do not have any timers. We have two z800's 2066-001. The manual describes how to change the Time without an ETR. When I bring up the Customize Support Element Data/Time there are 2 options. Use new time and Use console time. The Use console time is not describe in the manual. When you set the time a POR is required. I was wondering if the Use Console Time requires a POR or does it just pick up the time from the System Console (if that is the console that frame if referring to). We are z/OS v1r7. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You
