Thanks David, I verified, and the reorg was run on March 18th at about 00:30. I noticed that there are several disks (15) which are in that pool. Is there a reason why other disks were not chosen by HSM?

One of your small dataset packing KSDS files is full causing the migration of a small dataset to fail. So what. This dataset will migrate to another SDSP file or to the general ML1 pool during the next cycle. You should have multiple SDSP files in your ML1 pool. The freevol command can be used although my target level would be ML1 not ML2. Be advised that this should be done during relatively quiet time like a Sunday morning for most shops. I would advise draining the volume first to ensure no inbound traffic (migrations). After the freevol is complete run an Idcams Export of the SDSP file followed by an Import to re-org the file and free up the space. Simply running the freevol does nothing to make the SDSP available. It must be re-org'd.
