Went off to one of my ISV vendors and asked if the JAVA coding in their product would be run on the zAAP processor I am implementing on my two z9BC machines. The response was
"In order for XXXXXXX to use the ZAAP engines, it would have to be started in a special enclave eligible for ZAAP processing. We don't do that."
