They might. But some really paranoids around here are trying to figure
out how to make sure that "wifi" signals cannot pass in or out of the
building. We aren't supposed to have any wifi here. But the executives
on the top floor will do as they want. And some are concerned about
wardrivers finding something not secured. Which would be a possible
HIPAA violation, which means $$$$$ in fines!

Years ago it was a Federal Offense to actively block radio signals --
that is jam them (in the "civil" arena). This has been pointed out to
those who wanted to market certain devices for blocking Cell signals --
entities wanted to prevent them from disrupting movies, church services,
etc.

Now there is some consideration to blocking Cell signals. It would be an
interesting thing to run by the legal people who are familiar with the
FCC and applicable communications law.

However, PASSIVE blocking is legal. So if you wanted to put in the right
metal screening, concrete, etc. ...
