My question would be what DB2 Log? Are you talking about the DB2 Log from the started Task? Or the actual db2 logging function?
If you need the messages from the DB2 Started Task those can be retrieved if your shop does one of the following: Is the STC output going to a sysout archiver? Like DISPATCH or XPTR or other? Or is the output purged? Is the SYSOUT from SYSLOG archived? To a physical data set or some other sysout archiver process? If either of these are true then you can collect the data you are looking for. I am guessing that you are looking for specific DB2 messages for taking actions? If you could explain a little more on what you want from the DB2 log maybe there are some other options?
