Seeing as how Imanol wanted to stop the users from inputting different proc
names, coding a post-display exit to reset the proc value if the user is not
authorised to the new value would be a real user-friendly thing to do.

How many times have you had an irate TSO user call up to say they are
getting JCL errors at TSO logon because their TSO proc name has been
changed. Real interesting when it now contains their password.

But, in most cases, they have no idea what proc they should have been using,
so must needs call up and log a problem.

So selectively making the procname field read only, or correcting it later
stops
the phone calls and aggravation.

so much said, but I cant help with the exit. There are some examples on CBT
Tape?
