Hello all...
Using z/OS-1.4 and BPXBATCH (USS access module) with
"_BPX_BATCH_SPAWN=YES" set as an environment variable appears to cause a
non-zero return code:
HTRT02I Jobname Stepname ProcStep RC
HTRT03I RXXTST2I BPXBATCH 1536
The spawned script,
//BPXBATCH EXEC PGM=BPXBATCH,REGION=8M,
// PARM='SH /usr/local/sbin/run.sshcopy.in.tcsh'
.
.
however, completes successfully.
WithOUT the "_BPX_BATCH_SPAWN=YES" variable set, the defined script
forks and completes successfully, as before. Additionally, the various
"*OMVSEX" tasks are shown in the JCL output and the job return code is
what is expected (in this case - the value of the script return code).
So - what does "1536" mean?
