Subject: SHOWZOS

I have been using SHOWZOS 714 to try and sort out exactly what
happens to LE options under different circumstances. SHOWZOS
has been very useful, but it does not always seem to interpret
the settings completelyl leading me to ask whether the LE
interpretation part is still WIP or whether is is deemed to be finished.

What I have noticed so far is a setting of
STORAGE(00,NONE,00,8192)
is displayed by SHOWZOS 714 as
STORAGE(NONE,NONE,NONE,8192).
If I set it to
STORAGE(01,NONE,09,8192) for example, it does get displayed by as
STORAGE(01,NONE,09,8192)
leading to the conclusion that SHOWZOS is interpreting a value
of 00 as NONE. This does have ramifications as the IBM
recommendation is to use NONE and it is therefore not currently
possible to use SHOWZOS to check whether 00 or NONE is being
set. I also set TERMTHDACT(MSG,CESE,96) but it displays as
TERMTHDACT(MSG,,96)
