You're right, Walt. Good catch, and thanks for correcting my sometimes faulty memory. :-)

However, IIRC SVC 32 only did DASDM space allocation. It did
not build SIOT's, JFCB's, mark UCB's as allocated, etc. I think
SVC 99 was added  to MVT (maybe OS/360 in general) just for TSO.
Initially it was not a generally availble interface to allocation,
but intended for TSO's use only.
