Tony, A complete Flashcopy of DB2 and a SWAP to the cloned DB2 system is simple enough. However If you "(and so be back where we started)" then shutdown the original DB2 system and restart it once you are done with the cloned DB2. Just clipped the DASD back and the catalogs are in sync.
