We do have a copy of the S0C7 dump which contains the module name. We are
also in the process of obtaining the compile listing so that we can make
sense of the dump :-)
I checked the virtual storage map per Steve's suggestion and the private
area below and above the line starts at the same address for both systems
and has the same size. We were going by the notion that a program should
behave or execute the same way when processing the same input data provided
that the environment is the same since the program's logic is driven by the
data that it is working on. This is why I was thinking that there might be
some parm that governs whether a storage is cleared or not and hence causing
the abend on one system and not on the other. Is this a valid assumption?
