  Prior to z/Architecture, MVS mapped the Page Frame Table
virtual storage as part of the Read/Write Nucleus, so changing the
amount of real storage in the zone did affect the upper boundary of
the nucleus, and thus everything else above 16MB.  In z/Architecture,
MVS maps the Page Frame Table virtual storage in a data space, so you
should no longer see this effect.
