Tell them: Stop hitting enter because all the computer has time to do is service your request to see if it moved up in the queue. Put a NOTIFY=&SYSUID on your job card and the system will tell you when your job came to an end. While you are waiting, write that documentation you have been meaning to get to. Get 100 programmers tapping that enter key just as quick as they can to see if their job ran and you know why that procesor upgrade is imminent. Monitors in the wrong hands need the same control you hear on tv about the machine where someone in the hospital can press a button to get more pain reliever into their drip line. Only it does not honor every request. SDSF and RMFMON should have an IGNORE x number of enter requests in a certain period of time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
