BTDT and loved it. Best, most flexible interactive environment it's ever been my pleasure to use. Unfortunately for me, I have not been employed at a shop where I had access to VM or CMS for over a decade, so I was referring in my original comment only to the OS390 and z/OS world. In my own defense, I did start out that rant complaining about the restrictions on using Unix Services utilities in JCL, implying I was comparing z/OS batch/online distinctions to the *ix environments.
