Ken, I apologize for misunderstanding your post. I did not originally install TM (just minor changes to the JAL code), it was that way when I got here (ala Homer Simpson). IIRC there is no set value/default for YOURDD, but I could be wrong. Sorry for being totally worthless for help with your question.

If the manual shows and example, many new sysprogs would use that value. How many shops went ahead and used YOURDD? I recall VAM is the product that lets you set the DDNAME specification, although I did not install it so I do not know how it was done.
