The JZOS alphaWorks forum is the best place to ask questions re: the new
alphaWorks version of JZOS.
The new alphaWorks version has a jar that duplicates the SDK jzos system
jar in the SDK lib/ext directory, and therefore there are some special
JVM options that must be set for the classpath structure to be
configured correctly. Check the installation guide and sample JCL
carefully, and if you are still having problems, run with loglevel "T"
and post your log to the alphaWorks JZOS forum

Have you tried the new jzos v210 (alphhaworks) edition?
None of the java samples work so far - missing classes for jrio.
And this version is not supported via IBMLINK.
