I already answered Anton in another post but I wanted to respond to this and make clear that DFSORT work files cannot span multiple volumes. If you coded UNIT=(SYSDA,10) on a SORTWKnn DD statement, DFSORT would still use only 1 volume for each SORTWK data set.
