Far out, that video makes your skin crawl.. the word "cannibalism"
comes to mind.
A moment's thought suggests that something very similar is happening
in our own bright and blazing she's amazing land of bloody Oz. We
continually hear about employers complaining about "shortages of
skilled IT workers" -and- at the same time, from skilled IT workers,
"how hard it is to get jobs"! !? And we have something called a "457
visa" which lets employers go overseas to find staff for "temporary"
(up to four years!) employment in Oz.
From the Sydney Morning Herald, July 3rd: "The government says the
visas are crucial to alleviating skills shortages, but Labor and the
unions say the program has been used to exploit low-paid workers."
While not normally a religous person, I have recently been buying
cute li'l voodoo dolls of all the senior cabinet ministers every
week, and by hacksawing hard silver solder I can make these sweet
little stakes... Oh, and the neighbors have started to take their
chickens inside at night now, due to recent unexplained losses..
The dull red glow? Relax, my eyes are just a little sore tonight..
The vanishing American computer programmer
Move to increase number of foreign worker visas fails in Senate, but
that has not stopped what critics call a push for cheaper labor.
