Hello listers Can one of you tell me in which book i can find an explanation of the syslog STCnumber creation . ASID 1 ( Master ) has an stc number in front of its entry ( DA ostc shows it ) and it is obviously related to SYSLOG ( i guess) . ( I hired a bright 25 years old programmer who agreed to join us to become a mainframe sysprog ) During my daily one hour session with him explaining how Z/OS works , i got this question : "but then why is there an stcnumber on master ?" Yes !
