I ran into this on the squatty-box side of my job. They want any security patch applied within 30 days after it's available from the vendor and it needs to be put on a test box first. OK, 20+ servers with 2 different versions of the OS. That's a lot of patching. Ironically, it took the auditors several days, with our blessing, just to get thru the firewalls to run the audit....
