What is the Primary allocation for the failing dataset?

The volumes may be online and enabled but how much free space do they contain?
and how fragmented is that space?

Hi,

I am trying to allocate a dsn of 60 cylinders on a pool of 10 vols. I

IGD17273I ALLOCATION HAS FAILED FOR ALL VOLUMES SELECTED FOR DATA SET
  SYS2.NETVIEW.TEST
IGD17277I THERE ARE (10) CANDIDATE VOLUMES OF WHICH (10) ARE ENABLED OR
QUIESCE

IGD17290I THERE WERE 1 CANDIDATE STORAGE GROUPS OF WHICH THE FIRST 1
  WERE ELIGIBLE FOR VOLUME SELECTION.
  THE CANDIDATE STORAGE GROUPS WERE:SYS2PP1
IGD17279I 10 VOLUMES WERE REJECTED BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT SPACE
  41A041D)

The drives are online and I checked that the status for the storage groups
are enabled .
