Is "CONTROL ERRORS RETURN" the suspect cause of the behavior, or a possible solution. The Guide gives the syntax for CONTROL ERRORS, but doesn't explain what the options do. I suppose that's why they called a "Guide" rather than a "Reference Manual". (Ah, I found the explanation in the Example. Silly place for it.) Much better, now.
