Minor correction: z/OS *run* under emulators. It's *not* theory. Several
emulators support z/OS: Hercules, Flex-ES, I'm not sure about UMX which
AFAIK supported OS/390. This is technical issue.
Quite another issue is to get license to run z/OS i.e. under Hercules.
However there are still existing installations running z/OS under
FLEX-ES legally.
